Hina-Matsuri (Doll's Festival) is a special time to pray for the growth and happiness of girls.We usually decorate peach blossoms and Hina-Ningyo (Hina-Dolls) , a set of special dolls for Doll's festival held on the 3rd of March each year.

This Kokeshi dolls are made by high skilled Kokeshi craftsman as doll and ring are
curved from a piece of wood.
Originally it used to be a teething ring for baby.

These Yamiyo Kokeshi (Hina-Dolls) which we have are at least 40,50 years old.
As a note, these are all antique kokeshi, so there may be some signs of previous ownership, but that is reflected in the price.
